The #iTeacher competition will be held for the third time. In the past, the organizers received more than 1,000 applications from participants from across the country. The purpose of the competitive selection is to identify teachers and other professionals engaged in educational activities with children of school age who creatively and innovatively use pedagogical and digital technologies. It is these approaches that ensure the quality of the educational process and allow teachers not only to speak with the students in their own language, but to actually create this language.

To participate in the #iTeacher competition one has to submit an application until December 20, 2018 on the official website https://iteacher.rybakovfond.ru. He will need to thoroughly describe his practical experience, project idea and educational technologies with which the project will be implemented.

#iTeacher provides additional opportunities for broadcasting technologies, partnerships and expert support from the professional community. Each participant will be able to tell other colleagues about their projects, communicate with teachers from other regions, and receive expert recommendations on how to refine their projects.

The 50 winners of the # iTeacher competition will be awarded with training at the Certification Academy of NOTO iTeachers (the initiative of the Rybakov Foundation), which will be held in Helsinki (Finland) on March 25−30, 2019. By the end of the training, each participant will receive a certificate of participation in the educational program from the Finnish National Educational Agency.

The iTeacher competition includes the following nominations:

  • "Leader of change": a proactive, energetic leader of an educational organization or a teacher, who understands the innovative aspects of modern education, can inspire colleagues with his example and ignite the development of the whole team.
  • "Teacher of the digital world": a professional who is fluent in modern digital technologies and able to implement them into the educational process. The teacher who knows how to carry out an individual approach to students with the help of modern pedagogical tools.
  • "Pedagogical designer": a teacher who is skilled in creating his own teaching materials, who is able to construct an effective learning environment and correctly select resources to achieve results.
  • "STREEM teacher": a teacher who knows how help the development of a child's personality through the specifics of school subjects, who knows how to acquire metasubjective skills and prepare children for a life in the complex, informationally saturated world of the future.
  • "Teacher-maker": a teacher who is able to teach children to move from an idea to its realization and a finished product, who can educate by creating new things, who is able to teach manual labor through modeling, designing and using new technologies.
